Axelle Lenaerts (°1995, Antwerp, BE), is a visual artist and filmmaker who explores the world in a poetic way. Lenaerts graduated from her Master’s in Fine Arts at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent, and is currently pursuing a post graduate program at the Higher Institute for Fine Arts (HISK) in Ghent. She uses various medias like film, photography, drawing, and text to tell her stories. Starting from herself and her surroundings, she portrays people, places, and feelings in an intimate way.
